ecobee Designer interview questions

Overall I had a very positive interview experience at ecobee! I applied online and had an initial phone screening with the recruiter who explained more about the company, the role I applied for, and the team I would be working with. I briefly described my work experience and a bit about me. The recruiter was receptive and super friendly the entire time, and immediately scheduled an in-person interview which would be a portfolio review. The first in-person interview was with the team members that would be directly working with this role. They were all extremely welcoming, asked good questions, and were fully engaged in conversation. Shortly afterwards the recruiter invited me for a second interview, which consisted of a case study that would be presented to a panel within a week. The case study itself was an exercise that would show how you tackle a design problem, and overall was not extremely time consuming. I presented the case study to extended members of the team where they asked questions about my process and gave me a sense of what it would be like to work there. The process as a whole moved very quickly and efficiently. As a candidate, I really appreciated that ecobee was very respectful of my time and consistently kept me in the loop.
