2 rounds of interviews (phone and with manager). The process is seamless and not very challenging. Questions are mostly situational. They don't really care about your university. I think it would be great to join activities outside school to add experience on your CV

I applied online. I interviewed at ecobee (Toronto, ON) in Jul 2022
Interview
I had a great initial interview with HR, and the process unfolded just as outlined in the job posting. Over the course of two interviews, I met four employees, all of whom left a positive impression. Typically, I prefer to meet the hiring manager early to assess compatibility, but he was not available in the initial stages. Unfortunately, there wasn't much information provided about the business case, leaving it quite unclear. After working for three days, I sensed they were not actively seeking to fill the position, especially since they were on the verge of changing product leadership to someone from Amazon. Interestingly, the job listing remained on the website for over six months.
