Executive Assistant Interview Questions
Like administrative assistants, executive assistants must demonstrate exceptional organizational, time management, and interpersonal skills. Executives are looking for candidates with impeccable written and oral abilities who can manage typical administrative software. Expect interviewers to ask how you would handle a variety of difficult situations, such as prioritizing multiple deadlines, working well in groups, and defusing irate people.

Most of the questions had to do with my prior experience with non-profits.
What were some of the challenges you encountered and how did you overcome them?
I was asked about my commute and how I intended to overcome it to get to the job.
I was asked if I thought I could "work with" the hiring manager, which seemed like an odd question as I didn't really know the person other than during the interview.
Can you work long hours? I said sure, when there is a project going on, overtime on occasion is not a problem. I was told it's not overtime. I asked what exactly do you consider "long hours". Coming in at 8am and staying until at least 8:30pm. Everyday. Another repeated question was, "What is the lowest salary you can accept?" In my head I was thinking, $80k wouldn't be enough... I was also asked how I handle working for someone who is difficult and has a temper? Red flag. There is a reason this is being asked. Read all these reviews and RUN!!!
