The interview process is informal. I think I first spoke with the designer director on the phone and then came in for an office visit and showed my work to the team. They were all very nice but I was looking for a higher level of enthusiasm than what I saw. The vibe of the Austin office was super low key, and again, that's some people's preference but I was looking for a high energy environment (maybe I'm just a weird out-of-towner). Apparently a lot of people were working from home that day.
I will say however that their design process and research process is very solid. I've heard only good things about it.
