During the phone interview, they gave you the accessory of the month (had a couple of days to prepare) and it was your job to sell it to the recruiter. The interview at the store was different; they gave you 10 minutes to go look around the store and get a good feel for things and then the ASM came out and made up some story. It was your job to walk around the store and sell them products (phone, tablet, headphones, cases, car charger, etc.)
Q: Why are you interested in Verizon? Q: What can you bring to Verizon? Q: Why did you choose Verizon? Q: What kind of wireless items to you use? Q: Can you use apps? Q: How can you be a valuable team player? Q: How did you handle a difficult customer? (That's one where you have to use details... there were a total of 3 questions that used details and I can't remember all the other ones) Q: (Make sure you know how to sell and item, any item, Wolf of Wall Street is a good starting point [look up how to sell a pen]) What was your sales pitch? Personally, I think that's what got me.
They'll ask you to sell a product, typically an accessory for the month, to them during the interview. They give you some time to learn about it before the interview.
