Description Advantage Metals Recycling was formed in 1977 as Galamba Metals and is a full-service scrap metal recycling facility. Galamba Metals was purchased and renamed Advantage Metals Recycling in 2008. Advantage Metals Recycling is wholly-owned subsidiary of Nucor Corporation, a Fortune 100 company. Advantage Metals Recycling is also affiliated with Metal Recycling Services, River Metals Recycling, Texas Port Recycling, Trademark Metals Recycling, and Western Metals Recycling - and The David J. Joseph Company (DJJ), the largest and oldest scrap metal brokerage company in the United States.
