Our mission is cultivating individual well-being and community health through shared learning and innovation. Our vision is healthy communities for all individuals, regardless of income or social circumstances.
Established in 1994, CareOregon is a nonprofit, community benefit company that serves Oregonians with Medicaid and/or Medicare.
We help approximately 460,000 Oregonians get the care they deserve. But good health is more than health care. That’s why we invest in programs that help people get housing, healthy food, job training and more. Our members’ lives touch countless other lives. And when they are stronger, we are all stronger. That’s the CareOregon Effect.
Through partnerships with three Coordinated Care Organizations (CCOs) one Dental Care Organization (DCO), a Medicare Advantage plan and we provide integrated medical, dental and behavioral health care services to our Medicaid members.
We also own Housecall Providers, which delivers primary, palliative and hospice care to home-bound patients. In addition, CareOregon also contracts with the Oregon Health Authority to provide care coordination to American Indian/Alaska Natives in Oregon who are on fee-for-service Medicaid.
