Description Fort Bend ISD is Texas’ seventh largest with more than 71,000 students and one of the most diverse. Working and learning cohesively alongside people from other nationalities and ethnicities is the norm.

FBISD currently has 75 campuses: 11 high schools, 14 middle schools, 46 elementary campuses and four unique secondary campuses to address the academic and vocational interests of students.

With more than 9,250 full-time employees and substitutes, the District is the largest employer in Fort Bend County.

Fort Bend ISD, its campuses and its students are routinely recognized for exemplary achievements by organizations such as The National Merit Scholars Program, the National Association of Music Merchants, Children at Risk, The Washington Post’s Top High Schools in the nation rankings, U.S. News & World Report’s Best High Schools in the nation, and the United States Presidential Scholars Program.
