Mission By delivering innovative education approaches and advancing aligned policies, KnowledgeWorks activates and develops the capacity of communities and educators to imagine, build and sustain vibrant learning ecosystems that allow each student to thrive.
Description KnowledgeWorks is a national nonprofit based in Cincinnati, Ohio, that has been creating the future of learning for 20 years. In addition to our history transforming schools through Project Grad, the Ohio High School Transformation Initiative, the Early College High School Initiative and the College in High School Alliance, our investments have yielded the birth of collective impact through StriveTogether and the growth of project-based learning with the New Tech Network, both of which we spun off into successful nonprofits that stand on their own. Committed to a systems approach to the future of learning, we’re engaged in partnerships with school districts, state departments of education and education service agencies in Arizona, North Dakota, Ohio and South Carolina, and we’re working deeply to align systems in Michigan, Minnesota and Utah. Each year we invest human and thought capital in advocacy, policy, strategic foresight, research and practice – and we multiply those investments through our work with our partners to ensure that the future of teaching and learning reflects the hopes of every learner in every learning community.
At KnowledgeWorks, we partner with learning communities to create purposeful paths and places to ensure each student graduates ready for what’s next. Through evidence-based practices and a commitment to equitable outcomes, we’re creating the future of learning, together.
At KnowledgeWorks, our team cultivates strong relationships that create more impactful results than any individual effort. Our team of employees engages communities through leadership and service. We lift each other through our actions every day, united in our belief that all students deserve an equal opportunity to succeed. When you join the KnowledgeWorks team, it’s more than a job; it’s a career and an opportunity to join a talented team of experts in teaching and learning, policy and advocacy, strategic foresight and so much more.
Through an unrelenting energy and commitment, we inspire and champion a compelling vision for the future through our culture of learning. We value diverse perspectives, skills and experiences and advocate for open dialogue, data and differing viewpoints. We build on success, learn from failure and celebrate team.
