Description Manhattanville College is a private liberal arts institution offering undergraduate and masters degree programs in more than 40 fields. Manhattanville is home to about 1,500 undergraduate students. In addition to college degree programs, the school also offers in-house and on-site corporate training programs in such areas as business writing, project management, and diversity. Manhattanville was founded in 1841 in New York City by the Religous of the Sacred Heart. It relocated in 1847 to an area just north of New York City on a hill overlooking the village of Manhattanville. The school has been coeducational and non-denominational since 1971.
