Description The Marbridge Foundation provides long-term care for more than 220 adults with cognitive disabilities such as Alzheimer's, cerebral palsy, mental retardation, and Parkinson's disease. Located on a 300-acre ranch, the foundation's facilities include several classrooms, recreational facilities, horse stables, computer labs, and an art studio. The Marbridge Foundation's goal is to train and educate residents with cognitive challenges so that they can reach the peak of their potential abilities. Residents stay for several years or their entire lives. The foundation was founded in 1953 by the Bridges family.
