Description The Company established in 1983 as Pacific Rice Products, Inc. In 1984 Rice flour business was established domestically. 1985 Rice flour blend business established in Japan. 1988-1990 Company name changed to Pacific Grain Products, Inc (Retail ready-to eat cereal and snacks was established). 1999 Pacific Grain Products, Inc. was acquired by ACH Food Companies, Inc. located in Cordova, Tennessee, US and an Associated British Foods, Company. 2002 Pacific Grain Products becomes PGP International, an ABF Ingredients Company. ABF Ingredients is a division of Associated British Foods plc with corporate headquarters in London. 2007 PGP International acquires Riverbend Rice Mill, Inc. located in Colusa, California, US. 2008 The Gluten-Free Certification Organization (GFCO) announced on August 25, 2008, that it has certified several of PGP International’s ingredients as gluten-free. 2009 PGP International and Protient Inc. merge. 2011 Zachary S. Wochok, Ph.D. retires after 15 years of service as the CEO and assumes the role of Chairman. 2011 Nicolas J. Hanson is appointed Chief Executive Officer of PGP International, Inc. 2012 Awarded Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for Sport™ registration from NSF International and Expansion to existing business announced with the building of a 70,000-square-foot new plant in Evansville, Indiana, US. 2013 Divestment of Whey processing plant in Juda, Wisconsin to Grande Cheese® Company. 2017 Angelica Horst is appointed Chief Executive Officer of PGP International, Inc. 2018 Closure of Colusa Mill plant. 2020 New automated flour packaging line installed making valve bag packing faster, safer and more energy efficient.
