Mission We are a collective of parents, teachers, leaders, and students working together to expand opportunity for children and communities across the country. At Rocketship Public Schools, our mission is to unleash potential, not only in our students, but in the educators and leaders who support them every day.
Description Rocketship Public Schools is a nonprofit network of public elementary schools with nearly two decades of experience educating students and partnering with families in communities across the country.
When you join Rocketship, you join a collective of educators, leaders, parents, and students working together toward a shared purpose. Our schools are built on the belief that strong outcomes for students start with well-supported, well-developed educators. Talent development is not an add-on here, it’s central to how we operate.
Educators at Rocketship receive consistent coaching, frequent professional development, and clear opportunities to grow their impact over time. Career pathways may include roles such as grade-level lead, content specialist, instructional coach, or school leadership, depending on experience and interests. We aim to make growth visible and achievable, especially for early-career teachers who are looking to build a long-term career in education.
Rocketship is also known for its deep partnership with families. Parents are active partners in our schools, working alongside educators to support student learning and strong classroom culture.
This work is meaningful and it is demanding. Teaching at Rocketship requires commitment, reflection, and a willingness to continuously improve practice. We believe in being transparent about expectations because the right fit leads to stronger teams and longer tenure. In return, educators often point to the clarity, support, and shared sense of purpose they experience here as reasons they stay.
As an organization, we are committed to learning and improvement. Feedback from staff is encouraged and acted upon so that all team members feel welcomed, supported, and respected. Our leaders and educators reflect the communities we serve.
If you are looking for a place where your growth matters, where families are true partners, and where your daily work contributes to meaningful impact, Rocketship may be the right fit for you.

Mastery Schools is a system of 23 public charter schools in Philadelphia and Camden. We educate 14,000 students in grades K-12. Most of Mastery’s schools are neighborhood schools. We partner with families to create vibrant, joyful learning communities.
Our goal is to meet the needs and support the dreams of every single student we educate. We pair high expectations with high support. We love our students and prioritize student achievement above all.
At Mastery, we believe educational inequity is one of the most pressing social problems facing our country and the civil rights issue of our day. We disrupt systemic racism and the inequities that limit our students’ choices. We nurture a culture where all staff, students, and families are valued and respected.
