At Strategic Therapy Associates the safety and well-being of children is our priority. Locally owned and operated, Strategic Therapy Associates, has been providing services to at-risk children, adults, and families in Central and Southside Virginia for over twenty-five years. Strategic Therapy Associates is a family therapy agency that provides mental/behavioral health services such as intensive in-home therapy, therapeutic day treatment, mental health skill building, crisis intervention and outpatient therapy services to empower people to solve the problems putting them in at-risk situations.
Our agency employs counseling and human services professionals who are interested in a unique, family-oriented/systems approach to working with clients, and desirous to help clients change the situations that maintain their involvement in the helping system.
A variety of problems are addressed, including abuse, neglect, court-related problems, and other mental health issues. Our goal is to prevent residential/in-patient placement and safely maintain clients in their homes and communities.
We provide services in over 20 counties across Central and Southwest Virginia. Our offices are located in Lynchburg, Farmville, Norfolk, Danville, Roanoke, and Galax.
