Sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn't stay there -- especially if you attended school there. The UNLV Foundation raises and manages funds for the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV); it uses donations and gifts to support the school with school programs, equipment, endowments, scholarships, and facilities management. Among the not-for-profit's money-raising activities are the Rebel Ringers Phonathon (student outreach to school alumni and friends) and the Academic Corporate Council (the members of which donate more than $5,000 of unrestricted gifts annually).
