1-800 Contacts is a great company to work for because it loves up to or strives to embody its core values. Benefits are good and do is the pay.

Cons

Managers don't always value the contributions of team members and are highly focused on metrics

Used to have great amenities.

It sounds like if you've been here for less than a year you've heard about all of the great amenities we have in our building. Our amenities certainly haven't been removed, most of them have simply been placed on hold during the pandemic. Because we all miss some of the amenities that the building provided, and none of us were able to take advantage of them, here are some of the things we did during the pandemic as a replacement- - Surprise & Delight gift for all DC and Customer Department associates (TV's, Game Consoles, etc.) - Weekly Lunch and Learns - Remote work opportunities & flexible scheduling - Multiple gift cards to associates throughout the year -Maintained all events that could be done in a virtual environment -No one was furloughed during the pandemic -Doubled down on communication efforts to stay as transparent as possible -Provided paid time off for those impacted by COVID and those who have received the COVID vaccine. You can trust that the future is going to hold some amazing things. Our culture is, and will always be, people who take care of people.

managers would do anything for you to help you shine, everyone cares about everyone no matter they're position, human beings working here

So far i have not found any cons and i think i'll never will
