We’re saddened to hear this was your experience, especially when you were with our company for so many years. One of the many things we pride ourselves on is our incredible company culture, which is heavily driven by our Big-hearted people. We also care about the experience of our remote and hybrid associates. Knowing where and how our people work helps us to better engage with these members of our team – from surprise and delights to recognition opportunities. (And, of course, there are the less glamorous compliance reasons, too). We’re always happy to sit down to discuss concerns or questions more in depth. We encourage anyone who has concerns about any policies or procedures to meet with their manager or other senior leader for additional insight and discussion. Please know we appreciate your feedback and years of service with our organization. We wish you only the best with your next opportunity.

Pros

People and benefits such as health care are fantastic. Most schedule are fairly flexible.

Cons

Starting salary, and capped salary or not realistic. Raises are very small and don’t meet cost of living.

Great place to work

Pros

Amazing culture – GREAT work-life balance PTO policy, supportive/encouraging managers/leadership, growth/educational/convention opportunities, coworkers you actually like to work with, hybrid work schedule, super supportive teams, and a surprisingly high amount of just good good people. Perks: Onsite chef/grille with ridiculously inexpensive meals, great company-wide events, super fun team builds, onsite gym, free eye care. Dumb but true: Really great facilities – everything is so clean ALL the time. And also dumb but true: 10/10 playlists in the bathrooms. Honestly, I've never been so happy with a boss, my team, the culture, and the people at work.

Cons

Maybe I'm easy to please but I really don't have issues with 1-800. It's a great place to work. I mean it's a job. It's not living a life on the beach, so I guess that's a con, but that's also a con for every job ever. But I guess if Living Life on the Beach is ever hiring and paid competitively, I'd leave 1-800 for that.

Thank you for the glowing review! And thank you for continuing to add to – as you put it – our amazing culture. We’ll continue to fend off the “Living Life on the Beach” talent acquisition team by working to remain one of the best places to work. 😊
