Pros

They used to have great people working there, but most left. There's still a few awesome ones.

Cons

Fake "woke" culture, it became unbearable. New employees are underpaid in comparison to previous "normal" salaries. They managed to get a lot of good employees due to Covid, but not sure how long it will last. Their staff turnover is high, and there's a reason for it. Management is mostly unaware of the real-world issues that are ongoing. If someone higher up makes a lot of noise, they get all the attention and divert much needed resources to the issue they're noisy about in that moment, but there's a lot of long-term festering issues that never get any attention. The proprietary language you need to learn is not useful anywhere else. They let go a lot of staff at some point, only to make it worse (nearly the whole marketing department got laid off at some point, but the person that was then installed on top did not manage to get anything good done at all). They have a way of screwing people out of bonuses, for example by laying them off beforehand. Bonus is only paid in March, for the previous year, which leads to a lot of people quitting after that time. They hardly give any raises and there's no career opportunities, they deliberately seem to exclude certain people. If you're good and want to go into a slightly different direction, they don't want you to leave, so they keep you stuck in that position as long as possible but always dangle a carrot in front of you. They want you to do the job that you want for a while before they will actually give you the right title or compensate you. They are always low on staff, so many staff are working 50 to 60hr weeks. I've seen some of the young analysts pretty burned out...... most quit quickly. If you don't engage very much in social events, you will hardly get noticed at all. I've seen a few employees that constantly try to do extra work, and praise themselves to get attention in order to be promoted, which can get really annoying. But also a few staff that seems to just do the bare minimum for a paycheck. Nepotism is rampant, and every senior manager brings in friends and gets extra cash for the "referral". They support organizations like BLM (and I don't mean Bureau of Land Management).
