On a peer level, some great people to work with. Nice clean facilities. Decent vacation time. Some fun projects*

Cons

Poor management. Everyone says collaboration, but really employees are pitted against each other. Favorites get promoted, everyone else looses.

5 Years ago I moved to the Kansas City area after my previous employer filed for bankruptcy and downsized by half. I had to start all over again, but I found 1AAUTO! I started out as a contract worker but I have been steadily promoted. This company really values hard work and customer focus. If you are the kind of person who wants to make a beneficial impact on the lives of our customers by providing them with quality auto parts at a price that average, working class Americans can afford, then this is definitely the place for you!

Cons

As an employee at a rapidly expanding company there will always be some growing pains. But 1AAUTO has been fantastic at acknowledging people who move the company to the next level and have rewarded many of us with advancement, respect and encouragement. So come to think of it, maybe that's not such a "con" after all.
