Yeah! What that other person said! You'll have to rip this job out of my cold, dead, hands!
Pros
- Work/life balance. Unlike places I've worked for in the past, I've never felt as though I was expected to put in crazy hours. I can walk away from my keyboard if I need to and not have a member of management breathing down my throat. In many ways, it's working from home done the right way. These things seem basic, but they're often overlooked. I've seen them done horribly wrong in other remote companies. - Passionate behind user privacy. In a world where it feels like every headline is another tech company abusing the data they have for gain, 1Password does the complete opposite. It's so refreshing. - I have the pleasure of working for some of the best management I've seen to date. Not only do they do the management part right, but many of them have a strong technical background; it makes it easy to explain certain issues you've encountered and have a thorough conversation around it. - Fellow co-workers. Everyone here rules. They are among some of the brightest minds I've ever had the pleasure of working with and learning from. - Passion. These people really love their product and the people that use it. There's an energy that comes from that that can't be replicated otherwise. - Room for growth. I am often encouraged to voice where I wish my career could go and feel as though that feedback is heard and that I have the support I need to achieve those goals.
Cons
Nothing comes to mind. I do wish the compensation was a bit more competitive, but I'm told improvements are coming.
