Pros
Straight commission opportunity allows superior producers to theoretically produce well. Dedicated sales territory promotes trust with co-workers. Reasonable list of national accounts as Clients, so brand recognition is excellent when approaching prospects. Too bad they can't keep them.
Cons
Extremely poor back-office support. Payroll was incorrect 95% of the time for over 2 years. Commissions are lost, and corporate personnel will not speak to field reps, everything must channel through Managers. Senior level managers (Corporate+) are poorly educated and rely on outdated motivational techniques and philosophy to work with field teams. Non-existent communication from top to bottom, very poorly defined expectations, no clear path to promotion, and constant misdirection and dishonesty from VP level up.
