Pros

- You'll get to know your team members and care about them. - The games are actually pretty great. - There are some really talented people.

Cons

- There are definitely cliques, which makes the work experience feel like high school at times. - Many incompetent people who don't know what they're doing (or do nothing at all) still somehow manage to retain their jobs. - It's VERY political and if you're not in the inner circle, your career and salary will stagnate.

The people around you were generally good to work with. Exposure to lots of different titles

Cons

Management liked to change their minds a lot There wasn't a lot of room for advancement Split in team atmosphere between day shift and night shift Low pay for the amount of hours you worked

Decent salary, nice location, willing to spend money on projects in the beginning

Cons

Upper studio management is awful - seems to accept their role in screwing things up but still cleans house when their ideas backfire while still managing to keep their jobs.
