Pros

Yes, you do play video games for a living. That is the one perk is the gaming.

Cons

You will constantly be in extreme stress. There's the overtime which at a point becomes inhumane (13 1/2 hr days if you include breaks, 6 days a week, months without end). There's the fact that you could get a write up at any time (a co-worker got a write up because someone liked their facebook post of a game trailer). There are also weekly reviews that nitpick every tester, and the annual reviews to get a .50 raise -- well you better make sure you had ZERO mistakes for the whole year. Also there's a daily bug count and if you don't meet and surpass that be prepared for scrutinization. Another issue is their views on dating in the workplace, in that they will assume through facebook that coworkers are dating and then pull them aside, making public their 'failure', and making it known they will never grow with the company because they are 'dating' - even if they're just close friends.

Pros

You can be yourself and you get free games. Cool Office.

Cons

I'm actively job hunting but this current market is not making it easy to leave. Clear Hierarchy of Employees: There are senior leaders with offices then everyone else. Don't even try to be a temporary worker or you'll be treated as a second class citizen and there's little to no chance you will be converted. If you want to work in an office with cubicles where you're forced to come in but no one in senior leadership does this ones for you. Lack of clear strategy: There were no OKRs for the past year, and the company has been in complete disarray with confusion of strategy and role clarity. I've had multiple people tell me that they didn't understand what they were supposed to be doing in their new roles as the org restructured for the third time. Lack of Development Opportunities: They've discussed something about career paths but nothing has come of this in years. The HR team is painfully slow at getting anything done and makes changes with no rhyme or reason.

Pros

Chill environment. Wear what you want. Genuine funny moments

Cons

Low pay. Fake managers. Suck-up culture. Others get credit for your work. High stress over a freaking video game. Very poor personal life/work balance. You can do better than working at this place trust me.
