-Kept me from living on the streets, eating garbage.... -Played games -Other QAers were generally smart, hard-working, and fun to be around.

Cons

Management had a tendency to punish any innovation, since (and I can only assume here due to the universality of this problem) it threatened their own tenuous jobs and we were after all just contract workers, gone in 12 months no matter what kind of job we did. This hostility was especially true if that good work happened to be recognized and applauded by the main office in Marin, or even worse, by the developers (such as Firaxis) that we happened to be working with at the time. Fun times.

The people and culture is great at this company. Everyone is really nice and it feels like a family.

Cons

Compensation is not competitive with Bay Area companies that take into consideration the cost of living here.
