Pros

You wake up in your boxer briefs, no problem--head to your laptop and start working. Their software is intuitive and easy to operate. Communication is great. The company seems to be staffed with talented, young people; and that's a plus my friend, as most other companies behave rigidly like institutions. You work your own schedule without limitations (other than their deadlines of course).

Cons

This is in no way a sustainable form of employment. Let me restate it differently. You'll sit your donkey down for an entire day--and perhaps night--and walk out with 15 dollars from it. If you live in rural Siberia and can afford the fast-speed internet there, this would probably not be a problem as you'll get 15 dollars a day even in the cold Siberian winter as long as you do the job that's available. For the rest of us, it just doesn't work. Not even close. Not even minimum salary. It's such a great concept; but it just doesn't work. This should only be the kind of thing you do when you're bored and have nothing else to do at the house. When the company says you'll make 10-30 dollars an hour, I don't think they really believe it. It's just a marketing statement.

Pros

Really have very few faults with the company. I've been working for about five months now for them, and it's been going pretty great. I've had very little trouble getting as much work as I want, even doing this full time. Their software is very good once you get the hang of it. They price each file based on how difficult it is, and every once in a while their algorithm spits out a number which is grossly underpriced, but I've never had any issues getting the price bumped after pointing it out to them.

Cons

None really. You know what you're in for when you sign up for this type of thing, it's a job, it's not a career. There are a few minor things with the software that annoys me. But overall, I can't complain much at all. Perhaps if you struggle with the software or aren't a fast or accurate typer, you'd struggle to make decent money, but I think they tend to weed those people out via the application process.

Pros

Choosing your own schedule, working from home, decent pay compared to other similar companies.

Cons

Inconsistent pricing-- some files are very difficult to work on, and it's not reflected in the price. Lack of opportunities for advancement. Hard to see this as a long-term career.
