Zero growth oportunities

Pros

Posibility to work with great clients in the United States. Better employee compensation compared with the average companies in Mexico.

Cons

Zero growth oportunities, once you are assigned to a client it is very difficult to change to other client or position (but if your project ends, then maybe changes to a another position even if it is not your expertise), you need to be friend of the managers to move or grow here. Bad managers, they don't think like leaders only think in don't cause problems to the USA bosses. USA bosses don't really care of the mexican employees, especially of the Mexico offices. Mexico office is very saturated, there are no more place for more people here, and they still hiring more and more. Bad and unfair methodology for annual bonusses. Preference of the middle management to their closest people, only the friends of the managers get Home Office, even some managers don't arrive to the office but when you ask for home office modality they refuse outright. Not a equal environment like the Merida and Colima offices. The work schedule should be from 8am to 5pm, not from 8am to 6pm.

Pros

·Good option to learn some stuff then go somewhere else ·Salary is good if you negotiate it ·100% payroll scheme

Cons

·Company grows continuously but only in numbers not in culture ·They don't trust their employees so they check on you a lot, instead of providing a good environment to work in ·They take away 5% of your salary if you are late several times a month ·There is no career plan or any option for training or professional development ·There is clearly a preference for some people in the company (usually people with some tenure int he company that probably wont go anywhere else, which I guess they favor because they wont improve their work conditions and only invest in that kind of people instead of creating a good place to work at) ·Work schedule is life consuming 8 to 6 ·Overtime is not paid at an extra rate, just as more normal work hours. ·They don't really have good benefits only Major Medical Insurance and Grocery vouchers (other stuff is just discounts on small local businesses) ·They have lame and insulting bonuses (Every 4th time a client sends an email saying you did a great/excellent/outstanding job they give you a gift card for about 25 dlls the) I guess these are the "performance bonuses" they referred to in their job postings because I haven't seen any other bonus.
