It's a large company and you can gain a lot of experience.
Cons
There is a lot of politics at 7-Eleven, and you need to have someone at your back rooting for you to get a good position, review, and other opportunities to come your way. They have had 2 major acquisitions of the last several years, and there was still a lot of confusion when i left. They are still trying to figure out the right formula for Speedway. One of the main issues that i had with 7-Eleven was that as the company re-organized itself, there was not a lot of review of the people that worked there, and you ended up having to promote yourself to get ahead.
