Not a great company

Pros

This is going to sound absurd, but the best thing about the job was essentially free soda refills? Beyond that, there wasn't much to enjoy.

Cons

Inconsistent hours, awful managers, terrible compensation, total lack of company values. You are just a cog in the machine and it's borderline impossible to get management to work with you on the basics.

Pros

Depending on the manager the schedules pretty flexible, promotions can happen, but probably won't. Minimum wage starting, but what do you expect at a gas station.

Cons

When the store is busy and you are by yourself customers can be very rude depending on the area. Corporate people set unrealistic goals for everything around the store. If you are good at ignoring rude people in general you should be fine.
