      Pros

      Fun environment and friendly staff. I would recommend to anyone who wants to be store manager or own their own business.

      Cons

      Long hours and can deal with a lot clients that are not friendly. Sometimes you do not feel safe working.

      Very unhappy working at 7-eleven, I expected the leadership to be more professional.

      Pros

      benefits, and management willing to give you the time off when you ask for a specific date.

      Cons

      Management lack of leadership and people skills. Very busy during shift 1, don't have time to take a break. Forget lunch! No break area for employees you have to either go in the small back room which is a bad idea because your break can be easily interrupted or go outside the store and just stand in the parking lot. Not allowed to go in your Car to take a break. Too many rules imposed by the management, rules that i have never seen written coming from 7-eleven policies.

      Great for advancement, if you put the time in!

      Pros

      Praise is given when deserved. Excellent place for advancement, but expect to put in long hours as needed. Average about 55 on a typical week. As with every employer, there is room for improvement within the senior leadership, but there are some great folks already in place.

      Cons

      Work life balance can be challenging, but it is your responsibility to manage. Some managers are more understanding than others when it comes to taking necessary time off (sick kids, etc).
