Pros

Good workers are treated like gold by management, they understand when you need a day off to recharge your batteries.

Cons

Picking up slack for other employees, yet understanding why they don't put in the effort is due to lack of interest in job

Pros

Free Drinks, and plenty of expired food to eat. Easy to take a day off if necessary. Payroll deduct is kinda cool if your broke, but not recommended.

Cons

WOW, where do I start. First of all, your paid minimum wage, which you already know when you start the job, but they expect you to work like a slave, having over 2 dozen tasks to accomplish by the end of your shift, including ringing customers, which is like a race every day i work to accomplish. Also no lunches and breaks are like the norm around here. I worked 3rd shift and I worked by myself, and had to deal with bums, drunks, crackheads and gangbangers. Which was stressful and very dangerous. There is really no upside to this job, other than a paycheck.

Pros

Free Slurpees, Coffee, Expired Sandwiches

Cons

I have TONS of Cons here. I currently still work for 7-Eleven, but I am about to quit soon. I can't take it anymore. I have worked here for two years ( I am a college student). Here are just some of the cons from my experience working at 7-Eleven. -Pay is LOW. Started off at minimum wage. Only have been given a raise ONE time, $.50 cents, in two years. I asked for a raise, was not given one. -They OVER work you. You feel like you are some type of robot working here. You work alone 99% of the time. There are no overlaps. That means you must change the trash, maintain coffee, maintain the grill, change the bibs, stock cups/lids, do the cooler, do orders, all WHILE TAKING CARE of customers. I come home to a hurting body everyday, -It's CONSTANTLY busy. This pretty much kills my back, constantly ringing up people. -There is no room to move up anywhere. I feel like I am stranded as a sales associate. Corporate came to our store for two weeks to clean, and they witnessed told me and my boss how great and friendly of a worker I am. Nothing happened from there. It's been six months. Also- when someone spills a slurpee or coffee, your screwed. Your all alone to clean it up, all between customers. If you want to be over worked and underpaid, this job is for you.
