Pros

Company vehicle, company phone, flexible schedule depending on position.

Cons

I was from legacy speedway and working for speedway it was a good job and then 7-Elven bought us out and the company has been down hill ever since. Every year our benefits continue to get worse. Took out pension, decreased our 401k, took our sick days, made of health insurance worse, our year bonuses and raises are a complete joke, they get smaller every year, we have to worry about being laid off now, when it was speedway we never had to worry about layoffs but now every year there is a hiring freeze and layoffs, all the systems that we use keep becoming more primitive like we are going back in time when technology sucked. Every year we used to get taken to a meeting that was 2 days long it was like a company retreat for maintenance it was really fun I looked forward to it every year, as soon as 7-11 took over that stopped. When it was speedway my average raise every year was 5-6%. With 7-11 my average raise it 2-3%. It’s an absolute joke.

Pros

Fun products, interesting marketing, some nice people.

Cons

There isn't work life balance. There's late nights, weekends. Upper management does not respect family time, vacation, sick; anything. The cliques are ridiculous. Some long term employees are so intimidated by new employees and talent. It's impossible to do the job you're hired for when you work with major control freaks. It's never good to be in an environment that doesn't share information to learn the business and promote growth. Upper management roles are filled with under qualified people. If your friends with senior management, your in...especially if you served in the armed forces. There's definitely the 'cool kids' syndrome in senior management. You have to bust your butt to prove your trustworthy, competent, and play up to the longtimers who feel they're in a position of power. If you like overwhelming stress and work 24/7, this is the place for you.

Pros

Nice office, some good colleagues

Cons

Hard to commute to, company has regular mass layoffs, changes strategies constantly, never can measure your performance year over year because they have changed everything so drastically. Silos are impenetrable.
