Pros

I enjoyed the day to day culture, and the pay/benefits were good. I could sign off at 6 and not have to check my inbox after that.

Cons

Some of the work required me to market shows and films that I would never watch on my own time. Small price to pay for work life balance.

Toxic Management at the SVP level

Pros

The pay was good, but not worth the mental toll. Benefit packages were good too - better than some of the big legacy media brands.

Cons

For starters, the product offerings and abilities to keep up with what is happening in the industry are just not there. Collectively mental health declines were the only things that seemed to be growing at that company. SVPs were nasty to AEs (and even planners) and constantly belittling and micro-managing, not motivating or problem solving collaboratively. Several people have left for mental health reasons, and even taken paycuts + lateral jobs just to get out.

Pros

Great people, exciting and creative work, great opportunities to grow and advance. Flexible with remote and hybrid work.

Cons

Advancement can be slower than one would like. Not great transparency around compensation.
