Pros

Great benefits, 401k, fairly accessible management, absolutely wonderful people (mostly)

Cons

Compensation is not competitive at all. Upper management is mired in many old habits and ways of thinking that are holding the company back from being a true competitor in the industry. Lacking creativity in their programming and in forward thinking. Has a tendency to take employees for granted. Retention of good people has been difficult lately. Priorities can be skewed.

Lots of smart people. The resources to get the job done. Great brands.

Cons

No clear lines of communication. Multiple groups tasked with same jobs - always muddying the water. A company that has had 10 years of tremendous success is suddenly in a bit of a rut and many folks are not handling it well. Bit of a culture of fear. Tremendous amount of job changes, new roles, new definitions = confusion.

HR is a nightmare. Legal is worse. Company is run by fear and yahoo's. They can't figure our their brand. Top heavy. NY and LA offices hate each other. Top brass think they're smarter than they are. What is Lifetime?
