Pros
I’ve been with APV for just over a year. I love it! I’m very happy with the pay, benefits, hours, training, support, and atmosphere. The company culture is perfect for me. APV expects a lot from its employees because customer satisfaction is extremely important (which sounds like any other company). But what makes APV different (in a good way) is the employees are extremely important, too. I know what is needed, I have requirements, standards, and timeframes to meet, but I also have freedom to produce, create, and learn without fear. I’m very blessed to be able to work independently and yet simultaneously as part of a 4-person team within this company. As a team, we peer-review each other’s work. I always have the support I need. There is a company hierarchy, but it doesn’t feel like one. The CEO and department heads are so approachable and helpful. They go out of their way to check to see if I (or my team) need help, offer opportunities for professional development, provide great training, and exemplify professionalism, kindness, strong work ethics, and compassion. If you feel intimidated by super talented co-workers or you want to just do the minimum and get a paycheck, this in not the place for you. But if you want to work, grow, and be the best version of you with a group of like-minded people, APV is the company to work with.
Cons
No downside for me at APV.
