Pros

Great people in certain offices. Very smart, talented people who really care about their work.

Cons

Since the acquisition by Silver Lake certain parts of the business have taken a direct hit. Seems odd to get rid of your most profitable part of the business, firing the people who make you over 50% over your company-wide revenue. And then to turn the company over to a bunch of baboons. The CEO is purposefully driving the company into the ground, along with the CTO and other key leaders.

Thank you for your feedback. The recent organizational changes have been difficult for all involved, especially those impacted by this decision. We do not take these changes lightly. The focus of A Place for Mom remains the same, helping families find the right senior living solution for their parent or loved one.

Pros

All recent 5 star reviews, if you read them carefully, you will know that they are likely being written by an HR person that is trying to cover up the reputation of this company - which is possibly the worst company to work for. There is not a shadow of truth in ANY of these recent 5 star ratings. They are desperate since it is almost impossible to recruit new employees and keep good employees at a company that totally disrespects them and tries to motivate them to unrealistic ends with high pressure.

Cons

Employees are expected to work 24/7 with unrealistic quotas that are always being raised. If you did the math on your hourly rate working here you would be working below minimum wage. While each employee is awarded vacation time, it is almost impossible to get approval to take a day off. Even if you do chances are they will require you to work with some last minute "emergency".

Pros

The opportunity to help Seniors and their families on a daily basis.

Cons

The corporate leadership is lacking and has no vision for the future. In addition, the culture within the company is extremely negative creating a very poor workplace environment.
