Pros

The company is trying to instill a positive culture and guiding values.

Cons

While many employees live by these new goals (and have for a while), it seems like senior management are the ones struggling to do that. Many teams are overworked and under paid.

Thank you for your feedback. It is difficult juggling our daily tasks and living our values. It’s an ongoing endeavor that sometimes we get right and also know there is opportunity for improvement. Thanks for the feedback and know that we’re working on it.

Pros

Working out of your home. A good place to learn the assisted living business and go on from there. Helping people find the proper care and housing for their loved ones.

Cons

Working out of your home means working all the time. Not much contact with your fellow advisors. Unattainable sales quotas for low compensation in a numbers driven matrix . Emotionally draining because you are working with families who either have little or no money to place their loved one in a community or they are in denial and wait until the family member is no longer placeable.

Thank you for your feedback. We're happy to hear that you enjoy the work from home opportunity. It is difficult juggling how to measure success with data, while remembering that our business is an emotions driven business. It’s an ongoing endeavor that sometimes we get right also know there is opportunity for improvement. Thanks for the feedback and know that we’re working on it.

Pros

Every client I worked with was a delight. Helping families in need was very fulfilling. Most of my teammates were wonderful and supportive. The Senior Living Communities I worked with were kind, caring & professional.

Cons

Sales management was probably the single worst thing. I had 4 sales managers in 2 years. Some reps were required (I mean scheduled) to work 60 or more hours per week while others were only scheduled for 30. All were on a similar "40 hour period week" pay plan. As soon as my team started meeting commission goals, the plan was changed from 100% commission to un reachable goals with base plus small commission. Most of the sales team took a 40% or larger pay cut! Nearly the entire team was gone within 9 months. A lot of us salespeople were very unkind to the call center staff.

Thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry that you went through so many changes when you were with us. Working the amount of hours you referenced is definitely out of the ordinary. In those rare instances where employees need to work overtime, they are required to tell their manager and record it so they can be paid. This is our standard policy at APFM.
