      Pros

      Legacy products, dedicated, tenured employees, tight-knit culture, small company feel with a global reach, history of philanthropic endeavors supporting the local community

      Cons

      speed of innovation is lacking on all fronts, needs an infusion of fresh ideas and a change-at-the-speed-of-business mindset to keep pace in the decade ahead

      Pros

      It's a very "family" type work atmosphere. A-dec cares about their community and does a few extra's for their employees to show they care. Great retirement plan.

      Cons

      Very political and some of the lower/middle management is a joke. The company seems to be taking a turn from putting employees first to caring about the bottom line which will really ruin the good thing they have going.

      Pros

      Individual contributors and low level management are fantastic. They care about each other, about the customer, and about quality.

      Cons

      Senior management are not self-aware. They don't respect diversity. They say they want people to take control of situations, initiate change, and be open in their communication but then resent those who do. I'm not sure if this is limited to the VP-level or if it goes all the way to the top (Scott).
