Pros

Superb engineering talents with down-to-earth hands-on engineering cultures across the entire organization. Excellent career growth opportunities for motivated individuals. You can expect to have real impact on the company product offerings, and if you do, your effort is well appreciated.

Cons

The opportunities for taking on real responsibilities could also be challenging if one is not motivated. There is no place for the slackers to hide.

Pros

Avg. salary pay Talented young engineers (but are leaving)

Cons

Hierarchical organisation. Too many managers. No career path for engineers. The manager has no sense of software engineering: - Tries to involving in multiple projects but can't even do well on a single product. - Thinks multitasking is good - No training/mentoring for juniors. "They should be able to train themselves" - No planning, only dispatching tasks - Values quantity (the number of fixed bugs/ finished tasks) instead of quality - Lack of discipline of engineering. Often rushing to deliver the works. ... and would not listen to advices from engineers.
