AAA Life insurance is an okay place to work, just make sure you are up on the politics of the company.

Pros

Basic 9 to 5 schedule Close employee environment-you generally know others in different departments Work was tedius, but training to other departments was offered.

Cons

As in most companies, there are politics. This company is no exception. It is all about who you know, and who you know who likes you. There is a definite race issue in the company. Minorities, especially blacks in this area are on the low end of the totem pole

They raise the quota every year so you always worry if you will hit the numbers. One of the most stressful places I've worked.

Pros

Good pay, good benefits and majority of the people are helpful and kind.

Cons

No process for advancement. The company only looks to advance certain departs while others are considered throw away. The company fails to gain input from departments that decisions effect. The CFO is condescending in every conversation. No matter what you present you are talked to like a child. He is set in his opinion and refuses to listen to to anyone. HR has zero effect in the company as they rarely step up and make decisions. They push issues off to managers as they don’t wish to be bothered.
