Thank you for leaving a review. We’re glad you enjoyed the work life balance AAMC can provide its employees. We understand change is difficult and can bring with it feelings of anxiety. Under the leadership of our CEO and President David Skorton, MD., we are excited to be embarking on a new strategic plan that will bring us closer to our goals and our mission of improving the health of all and creating a more diverse, equitable and inclusive environment is one of our strategic priorities.

Pros

Benefits (healthcare, 403b matching, dental, gym perks, commuter stipend), salary, work/life balance

Cons

Units operate in silos, some leaders are excellent, others are terrible. The experience working there, like most places, was dictated by your manager. Some teams are truly dysfunctional. I'm also unsure how the organization will hold up in the quickly evolving world of tech.

Thank you for leaving a review. We’re happy to provide our employees with a comprehensive benefits package. We acknowledge there are gaps with supervisors following AAMC best practices and standards. We have rolled out a mandatory supervisor training to better align supervisors of all experience levels to AAMC standards and best practices. Our goal is to promote a fair and consistent experience across the organization with this training.

Pros

Company mission, peers, benefits, salary

Cons

Leadership is immature and it appears that they focus more on health policy and external relations than on SaaS and the apps that they offer users.
