Pros

Management made a lot of changes to the company in 2020 that weren’t to everyone’s satisfaction. I’m not the kind of person to place judgements before seeing the end result, so even though I heard my coworker’s complaints and saw the justification for them, I wanted to see how everything would play out first. People never respond well to change, but after a few months it became apparent to anyone who was paying attention that all of the changes genuinely were for the better. Sure, some of the changes were annoying to adjust to at first, but at the end of the day I like my job more because the company is more organized now and feels more like one cohesive unit than a mixture of completely separate (and sometimes, competing) departments. My recommendation is to take some of the reviews on here with a grain of salt because most of them were written by employees who jumped the gun and judged too quickly.

Cons

No cons at the moment. Issues from the past have already been addressed and I’m finally on board with the solutions.

They do right by the community

Pros

The shop I work at is located in a fairly low-income community. The people who use us the most don’t make a lot of money and what I like about working here is that the people running the show don’t try to take advantage of them or charge them more than a job is worth. The pricing is fair and they let us help people out who need it. I don’t care how much money I make as long as I’m making my pay ethically and with consideration for people and not just profits.

Cons

We don’t make a lot. It’s enough to live on. But you won’t get rich working here, at least not working in the shop. I’m sure managers make more money.

Pros

I worked at AAMCO in 2017 and since then I’ve had nothing but a string of bad experiences with several other companies, which is why I wanted to take the time to write this review 2 years later. I didn’t appreciate how organized things were at PIM when I was there, but I’m realizing it now.

Cons

I thought I had legitimate reasons for leaving, but in comparison, AAMCO was practically El Dorado.
