Everyone is overpaid, which is pretty great.

Pros

AARP has great benefits and will definitely overpay you.

Cons

There is very little continuity in the organization. If you’ve worked at the organization for 30 years you are able to “eliminate” another’s position because they don’t like you - despite consistently positive performance reviews and good standing with others throughout the organization. Also, if you don’t know how to open a pdf and are not required to use a computer to do your job then you should probably not be responsible for managing anyone.
