Manage your expectations

Pros

Great pension plan makes it worth staying at least 5 years. Otherwise very decent benefits

Cons

The only place more political than this company is U.S Congress. Your promotion here is strictly based on how cool you are with folks in leadership. Multiple land mines waiting to blow you away. Advice to candidates considering AARP: definitely not a good place to start a career. Get at least a decade of experience under your belt before coming.
