Pros

AARP has some of the most intelligent and passionate people working in the organization. The culture is strong and everyone is marching towards the same goal to help serve the 50+. The organization is transitioning to a more innovative culture infusing a bit of the corporate world with the non-profit, which is exactly what it needs to survive another 50+ years.

Cons

With change comes old and new blood. The old way of doings things still lingers, but as new thinking and blood comes in the culture will shift.

Pros

Great compensation and benefits. Doing good work for the 50+.

Cons

Great company to work for and thus not much employee turnover. Makes it difficult to receive promotions.
