Pros

Because of the fact that we are not at the same host agency for more than one year, we are trained in different areas so that we can find real jobs, in different companies.

Cons

Even though we are considered as volunteers, we do hands on jobs, which gives us the opportunity to get back into the real work world.

Pros

Working for Social Mission oriented organization has many rewards. Good compensation for a non profit, great people (for the most part).

Cons

Constant shifting of priorities, lack of promotion/career path-ing. Some old school "more meetings the better" and "plan to plan to plan to act" mentalities.
