Pros

AARP is full of committed caring individuals who are passionate about serving the members and making the world a better place.

Cons

AARP is a place where everyone likes to discuss and talk about things before making decisions. While there is merit to having the discussion, having it multiple times before a decision or commitment is made just drags on the process unnecessarily. AARP uses more more acronyms than the US military.
