Pros

AARP has great fellow employees and a healthy collaborative culture. People stay at AARP a long time because it's a very good place to work.

Cons

AARP has a very complex organizational structure. There are myriad policy, legal and non-profit regulations to navigate with every move.

Pros

They have a lot of money, and sometimes groups will spend in surprising ways - good for entrepreneurs.

Cons

DUring leadership changes, they will kill old leadership projects, which doesn't bode well for long-term entrepreneurial spirits.
