Pros

Still has European mentality - fair work hours, carryover vacation hours that can't be used, etc. Very clean & safe workplace Respectable employer

Cons

Hogan is starting to bring in GE ideas. Pulling employees from High cost countries - moving to LCC - may be good for short term stock gains, but not sure if it's good for the long haul. Raises are relatively flat - reduces incentive to produce

Pros

- ABB products are involved in some of the most advanced projects around the world, from the largest cruise ships to the new Dallas Cowboys stadium. - Interesting work in a challenging field

Cons

- ABB in the US is an old school engineering company (limited flexibility and lower benefits) - Stronger management track than technical track - Too much focus on cost, very cost-centric management
