      Pros

      The training I have received has prepared me for almost any situation I could encounter on my field. My supervisors, coworkers, and peers have been very supportive and have received me with open arms. Everyone is eager to see you grow and move forward within the company.

      Cons

      The only one thing I can think of, is regarding the training group I was a part of. While the training I received was great, I felt that maybe certain departments like software developers should probably train separate from ATMs and account managers. Developers see the software we work with (DataTrak) with a different perspective. They look at the software to see what needs to be improved, rather than how to teach clients how to use it. For this reason, there are times that the class could go off on a tangent, and while our instructor did a great job keeping our class on track, this is one of the reasons I feel ATMs and account managers should be separated from other departments while training.

      The ABC Financial family is second to none

      Pros

      I am given the freedom to do my job without being micromanaged and when I go above and beyond I am recognized by management. I feel appreciated for the work I do. The company culture encourages helping one another like a family.

      Cons

      Client needs always have the highest priority and sometimes I have to put my personal life on hold until the clients are taken care of.

      It only gets worse in Software Development

      Pros

      Years ago there were many pros to working at ABC. I cannot think of any pros now except they told me I could work from home after I gave notice.

      Cons

      Management is so far removed from the individual contributors and does not care about anyone but making themselves part of the executive team. The software development leadership continues to get worse. Lack of communication, termination of outstanding contributors, no direction, and lots of pass the buck. They work too hard to blame someone and never look in the mirror at themselves. There has been a mass exodus due to the continued poor leadership so you have very few senior people to turn to when you need help.
