Exciting company filled with opportunities!
Pros
I honestly love what I do. I am lucky to be able to travel for work. I understand that my position may not be an option for everyone, but if you are flexible, reliable, and willing to truly commit 110% to the job, you will not only be successful, but you will create opportunities that many other companies cannot and simply do not offer. ABC is fast-paced, and every day offers something different. The compensation is higher than most companies in the area. ABC has a very unique open-door policy. Everyone is accessible from upper management to entry level. Every department I've had the chance to interact with has been very welcoming, supportive, and willing to assist with whatever was requested of them. It is rare that you can interact with the CEO on a daily basis. We are encouraged to provide feedback and our HR department is unlike any other I've experienced in my professional career. They genuinely care for each employee. ABC is a fun, but demanding place to work. I enjoy the people I work with. ABC is also very diverse. It may seem a little sentimental, but I've never had the opportunity to be around so many people who aren't just out for themselves. Everyone here is so unselfish in their willingness to assist others. The people are what make ABC a great place to work. It is inspiring to have such an encouraging, selfless community of coworkers. I just hope that leadership notices how we all work so well together. I'm sure I'm leaving something out, but if I could only say one thing about ABC, it would be that I wish I would have started here years ago!
Cons
It is difficult to say I have any negative feedback, when I consider change a positive. However, sometimes there may be a lack of direction. I do not mean in the sense of leadership, but in the implementation of new processes. I understand change can be difficult. Unfortunately, change is sometimes unexpected. I cannot speak to any other aspect of the business because I have not been around long enough to understand why some decisions are made. I mentioned in my "Pros" that we are an open door company, and we are on a personal level. However, I would like to see more opportunity for avenues of communication between management/departments. If one department doesn't pull their weight, we all could fail. I want to retire from ABC and I don't want my career in the hands of anyone but myself.
